Why books?

It is not only the body that needs nourishment, but also the mind. Aldous Huxley believed that a good novel should be like a holdall, packed full of ideas and concepts. The internet has changed the way that we communicate with each other. Websites such as wordpress and twitter are great tools, however, most things worth saying usually involve more than 30 words. In our modern world we often overlook the humble book.
